He was greatly loved by global fans for showing his “concept master key” side with unique office concept “Good & Great” (2023) and “Pleasure Shop” (2024) with the concept of a futuristic cyborg, and most recently, his third studio album “HUNTER” (2025) received yet another five-star rating from NME, who called it “one of the most exciting releases out of Korea this year”. Much of KEY’s music are tinged with retro influences, creating a unique artistic identity across his body of work — or, as many fans describe it, “KEY’s own genre”.

His television debut came in 2016 with tvN’s “Drinking Solo”. The following year, he starred as one of the main characters for MBC’s “The Guardians”, and his outstanding performance led to him receiving the “Best New Actor Award” at the 2017 Grimae Awards.
KEY has also charmed audiences through his appearances on popular variety shows like “Amazing Saturday” and “I Live Alone”, earning him accolades such as “Best Male Idol Entertainer”, “Excellence Award, Variety Category – Male”, and “Special Producer Award”.
