Embark on a flavourful journey into Hakka culinary heritage with Chef Pang Kok Keong’s handmade specialties, accompanied by reflections from poet Yu Fan. This curated tasting showcases delicate Radish Balls, savoury yam-based Abacus Seeds and comforting Handmade Mee Tai Mak. The experience is elevated with a fragrant cup of Lei Cha paired with puffed rice and concludes with a soft, subtly sweet Hakka Mochi. Each dish, prepared with time-honoured techniques, offers an authentic and heartfelt taste of Hakka culture and craftsmanship.

This programme is part of A Feast of Words & Flavours – a series curated by Tan Pin Yen and Yap Seow Choong, where literature meets culinary artistry to reveal the rich stories behind regional cuisines.
