• Concession tickets are non-transferable. Please note that random checks on concession tickets will be conducted at the point of entry. Ticket holders who are unable to present proof of eligibility are required to upgrade their concession tickets to full price tickets.

Ticket Pricing excludes Booking Fee. Booking Fee is as follows:

‘கவிப்பெருக்கு' என்பது சமகாலக் கலைவடிவத்தில் தமிழை உயர்த்தி எடுத்துச்செல்லும் மொழி, உணர்வு, இசை சங்கமிக்கும் தேன்தமிழ்க் கவிதைப் பேச்சு.

கவிஞர்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணங்களையும் உணர்ச்சிகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்த, கவிநயம், மொழிவளம், குரல்வளம் ஆகியவற்றின்வழி இசைக்கலைஞர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து தங்கள் படைப்புகளை நேரடியாகப் பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு வழங்குவர். இது ஓர் ஆழ்ந்த, உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான அனுபவத்தைப் பார்வையாளர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்.

தமிழ் இலக்கியம், கவிப்படைப்புகள் புதுமையான முறைகளில் படைக்கப்படுவதன்மூலம், பாரம்பரியம் மற்றும் நவீனக் கலை வடிவங்களில் தமிழ் தொடர்ந்து வாழ்ந்து, வளர்ந்து செழிக்கும் செம்மொழியாக விளங்கும்.

‘Kavipperukku’ is a Tamil spoken-word poetry performance that promotes the Tamil language through an engaging and modern art form. Spoken-word poetry is a live performance where poets use sound, voice and expression to share their thoughts and emotions.

This event will bring together poets presenting their original works, accompanied by live music, creating a memorable and immersive experience. ‘Kavipperukku’ aims to be a platform where Tamil literature and art can grow, reaching new audiences in fresh and creative ways, and celebrating Tamil as a living, evolving and classical language.

General Advisory

• Recommended age 6 and up
• Children aged 7 and below must be accompanied by one participating adult
• No admission for infant in arms
• Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance
• Each person attending the event must have a ticket

• Approximately 1.5 hours with no intermission
