Singapore Chinese Girls’ School presents Dance Concert 2026 – EnPointe, Ensemble, Encore

This year’s concert celebrates the dedication and versatility of SC Dance, covering a rich spectrum of genres – from the ever-popular ballet, to modern favourite, contemporary dance, graceful classical Chinese dance and more! This concert features a creative partnership with the school’s musical groups – Choir, Concert Band, Handbell Ensemble and String Ensemble – creating a dynamic fusion of movement and sound. Each performance highlights the unique ways in which the performing arts embody artistry, emotion, and storytelling.

This year’s theme, En Pointe, Ensemble, Encore, reflects the spirit of excellence that defines SC Dance. En Pointe pays homage to ballet’s iconic tradition while also symbolising the discipline required of all performers – dancers and musicians alike – to be “on point.” It represents the technical and musical precision needed to present each performance at the highest standard, together as one. Ensemble captures the magic of collaboration, as dancers perform in unity with fellow musicians and their Primary school sisters, to create a tapestry of movement and sound. Finally, Encore embodies the enduring passion of our dancers – the desire to return to the stage again and again, sharing their artistry with renewed energy and joy.

Terms of Ticket Sales

1. Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. All information given is correct at the time of publishing, but is subject to change without prior notice. The Promoter reserves all rights to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice, and, in the event of any dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final.

Conditions of Entry

1. Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance.
2. Each ticket admits one person, regardless of age.

General

1. Attendees must follow all venue rules and safety guidelines, including any health protocols in place on the event day.
2. In the interest of all patrons, latecomers will not be seated until a suitable break in the performance.
3. Mobile phones must be switched off or switched to silent mode in the theatre.
4. Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue. The House Rules are displayed within the venue premises.
5. No food and drinks are allowed in the theatre.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

1. Unauthorised photography, video and audio recordings are not allowed during performances.
