Who Knows Where the Bird Goes – Dana Lam: Six Decades of Practice

The inaugural 60+ commission of The AGEncy Fest by T:>Works, Who Knows Where The Bird Goes? takes audiences on a journey through a cumulative six decades of Dana Lam’s practice. Spanning writing, drawing, painting, and performance, this exhibition will also premiere a new video work made in collaboration with sound artist Lynette Quek. Lam is well known for her work and contributions in the civic and cultural spheres; less publicly known is her lifelong dedication to her art practice. The works in this exhibition chronicle deeply personal passages in her life and the turning of the world, with candour, humour, and tenderness. This exhibition is part of The AGEncy Fest, an enabling platform to provide vital resources for individuals aged 60 and above.
