This performance aspires to celebrate and showcase Singapore’s emerging dance talents through a vibrant and evocative presentation of traditional Indian classical dance. At the heart of the production is the profound concept of numbers, exploring their cultural, philosophical, and artistic significance as interpreted through Bharatanatyam as well as in the sophisticated realms of science and spirituality. We explore the myriad possibilities through which these numbers represent evolutionary pathways that help the individual soul realize its true nature – one without beginning or end. The journey of self-knowledge is recreated as we ascend each number, exploring and searching within to liberate ourselves through earthly bonds while also transcending them. The pursuit of self-knowledge leads us to the ultimate realization that each soul is, indeed, the Supreme soul, that resides in all beings and is immortal! By focusing on this timeless theme, the project offers audiences a unique perspective on the richness and depth embedded in Bharathanatyam’s heritage. Our aim is to bring this thoughtfully crafted work to a broad audience, deepening appreciation and understanding of both the intricate art form and its contemporary relevance.

The project is driven and supported by an experienced and passionate team:

Sreedevy Sivarajasingam: Artistic Director, guiding the creative vision and overall direction.

Music Composition: Sudha Raghuraman has done her magic again with a soul stirring music score

Lavanya Balachandran: Advisor and Rehearsal Master, offering guidance and overseeing rehearsal processes.

Ponnamma Devaiah: Stage Manager, coordinating the logistical and operational aspects of the performance.

Keerthi Kumar: Lighting Design, enhancing the visual storytelling with his expert lighting concepts.

Terms of Ticket Sales

1. Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. All information given is correct at the time of publishing, but is subject to change without prior notice. The Promoter reserves all rights to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice, and, in the event of any dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final.

Conditions of Entry

1. Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance;
2. Food and drink items will not be allowed into the event venue, items will have to be consumed/discarded prior to entry;
3. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to any person.

Admission / Re-admission

1. You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time;
2. Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission;
