Please pre-register for the workshop by clicking the 'Book Now' button to reserve your seat with your Pass ticket no. It is located below the QR code in your e-ticket. No-Show policy: Please note that we may cancel your reservation and reassign your seat to another person if there is no-show 10 mins after the session starts. As spaces for this session are limited, priority will be given to registrants on a first-come-first-served basis. We regret that we will not accept walk-ins if the session is full.
By marrying text and visuals, graphic novels can tell stories and share ideas in ways that illustrations and prose can't manage on their own. But their uniqueness as a medium also makes comics uniquely challenging to edit. In this masterclass, Ignatz Award winning comic artist Benjamin Wilgus walks through the essentials of editing comics: designing realistic timelines and robust workflows, fostering strong collaborations, playing to the strengths of the format, and keeping up momentum during the creation of a marathon art form.
Reminder: To book a workshop, you will need to purchase a Festival Pass here.
