Passionata III: Epiphany of Courage
Passionata, CHR's biennial Performing Arts concert, provides students from all Performing Arts CCAs with a platform to showcase their talents, creativity, and passion for the arts. Beyond the performances, Passionata is a celebration of collaboration, friendship, and artistic growth, bringing together students from different disciplines to learn from one another and create something truly special.
Originally slated to be presented in 2020, Passionata III: Epiphany of Courage was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Six years later, we are proud to finally bring this production to life. Its return serves as a testament to the resilience of our school community and the enduring spirit of the performing arts, making this year's presentation especially meaningful for all involved.
Passionata III: Epiphany of Courage explores the many faces of courage — the courage to persevere through adversity, the courage to pursue one's passions, and the courage to stand up for others. The story follows Jasmine, a Secondary Three student who finds herself dwelling on life's frustrations rather than appreciating its blessings. As her dissatisfaction grows, she encounters an unlikely friend who leads her on an extraordinary journey through time and space. Along the way, Jasmine discovers inspiring stories of courage, friendship, and self-discovery that challenge her perspective and transform the way she sees the world.
Join Jasmine on this remarkable adventure — and perhaps discover a reflection of yourself in the characters you meet along the way.
