The Great Story Expedition

The Great Story Expedition invites young adventurers to journey through some of literature’s most beloved tales - from daring pirates and mysterious jungles to whimsical rabbit holes and magical islands. This June, words become worlds, sentences spark surprises, and every page holds a doorway to imagination. Through teamwork, bold expression, and inventive storytelling, children will step inside the pages, transform into unforgettable characters, and add their own unique twists to these timeless adventures. The camp culminates in a lively showcase, where every camper will proudly share their story world with flair, fun, and fearless imagination!

故事大冒险

“故事大冒险” (The Great Story Expedition) 邀请小冒险者，一同穿越文学经典中那些广受喜爱的传奇故事——从英勇无畏的海盗到神秘莫测的大丛林，从奇幻的兔子洞到魔力四射的神秘岛屿。

今年六月，每一个字将化成生动的场景，每一句带来意想不到的惊喜，每一页将开启通往想象世界的大门。通过团队协作、大胆演绎和创意的叙事技巧，孩子们将沉浸书中的世界，化身为令人难忘的经典角色，并为这些永恒的故事添加自己独特的灵感。

在戏剧营的最后一天，小演员们将会呈现一场精彩的小品演出。每一位小学员将以无限的活力、趣味和无畏的想象力，自豪地向大家展示他们亲手打造的奇妙故事世界！

4-7 Year Olds

Week 1: The Jungle Book

Swing into the jungle and meet a world full of talking animals and wild adventures! Young actors will follow Mowgli as he discovers courage, friendship, and the importance of listening to the world around him. Through fun games, jungle-inspired movement, and imaginative play, campers will explore the wonders of the forest and learn that bravery and teamwork can help you navigate any challenge.

Week 2: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole into a world full of surprises and silliness! Through fun games and playful storytelling, young actors will meet talking animals, have mad tea parties, and discover how curiosity and imagination can turn the unexpected into a wonderful adventure.

Week 3: Peter Pan

Fly off to Neverland and discover the magic of friendship, courage, and believing in yourself! Young actors will meet fairies, pirates, and lost boys, exploring flying adventures and daring rescues while learning that bravery and creativity can take you anywhere.

Week 4: The Adventures of Pinocchio

Follow Pinocchio on a journey from puppet to real boy! Campers will navigate magical lands, meet whimsical characters, and discover that honesty, kindness, and listening to your heart can turn every adventure into something extraordinary.

一起荡入郁郁葱葱的大丛林，结识会说话的动物，开启一段野性十足的冒险吧！小小演员们将跟随毛克利（Mowgli）的脚步，学习勇气、友谊，以及倾听自然的重要性。通过趣味游戏、丛林律动和想象力表演，孩子们将探索森林的奥秘，明白只要拥有勇气和团队精神，就能化解任何挑战！

第二周：《爱丽丝梦游仙境》Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

跟着爱丽丝跳进兔子洞，进入一个充满惊喜与奇趣的世界！通过欢快的游戏和生动的叙事，小小演员们将邂逅会说话的动物，参加疯狂的茶话会，并发现好奇心与想象力如何能将意想不到的瞬间，变成一场场精彩绝伦的冒险。

第三周：《小飞侠彼得潘》Peter Pan

一起飞向梦幻岛（Neverland），感受友谊、勇气和自信的魔法！小小演员们将遇见仙女、海盗和遗失男孩，在探索飞翔冒险与勇敢营救的过程中，体会到勇气与创意将带你飞向无限可能的远方。

第四周：《木偶奇遇记》The Adventures of Pinocchio

见证皮诺丘从木偶变成真正小男孩的奇幻蜕变！学员们将穿梭于魔法之地，结识古灵精怪的角色，并领悟到诚实、善良和倾听内心，能让每一段冒险都变得非同寻常。

Together with an experienced teaching artist, your young actor(s) will explore the following skills and key competencies…

Self-Management & Resilience: Build resilience and develop strategies to approach challenges with a positive mindset, using stories to learn how to overcome obstacles.

Social Awareness & Empathy: Understand different perspectives and emotions, fostering empathy and encouraging respectful interactions with others from diverse backgrounds.

Critical, Adaptive & Inventive Thinking: Step into characters’ shoes and respond to evolving story challenges, experimenting with choices, adapting to unexpected scenarios, and thinking critically to overcome obstacles.

经验丰富的戏剧导师将会带领小演员们一同发掘以下几项关键技能:

自我管理与韧性 (Self-Management & Resilience): 培养心理韧性，并学习以积极的心态面对挑战；通过故事探索克服障碍的方法，建立应对困难的策略。
