Contact Improvisation with Li Yong Wei
Explore the physicality of Contact Improvisation through presence and weight. This workshop uses guided explorations to sharpen perception, clarifying how the body meets another without forcing an outcome. Rather than relying on familiar habits, participants practice staying grounded as movement shifts, focusing on weight transfer, support, and the precision of touch. Participants will be led to sense how action begins before intention, discovering how small shifts in attention change the direction of a dance. This practice invites a deeper physical honesty through responsive, unfolding movement. Participants are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions separately. Level: Open
