The book “Grady’s First Day At School” will be available for purchase separately. It is an option but not a requirement to participate in this Storytelling session with Grady Bear.
"Grady's Growth Tales" introduces preschoolers and lower primary students to the power of stories while building essential life skills. Using Singapore-authored Grady’s First Day At School, this literary arts programme develops communication abilities, emotional intelligence, and creative thinking through engaging, age-appropriate literary arts activities.
In this nurturing one-hour workshop, preschoolers and parents embark on literary journeys that foster both personal and social development. Children explore emotions, practice communication, and build confidence through interactive storytelling – read-aloud drama, dramatic play, and creative expression—all inspired by Grady Bear's relatable adventures.

FAQs
What is the youngest age to participate independently?
All children from the age of 4 years and above are welcome. This is especially suitable for children below the ages of 8.
Can a parent accompany the child?
A parent is strongly advised to accompany the child in this workshop. There is a special parent and child bundle arranged for this purpose. We do require that an accompanying person purchase a ticket and join the program—not just as company for the child, but as an active participant in their own right. This creates a more collaborative environment where everyone contributes to the creative experience.
Parents can pick up the tips on how to conduct read-aloud-drama with your children using any other books.
Can an adult come without the child?
Yes, adults who would like to learn how to conduct storytelling with their own children at home, are most welcome to contribute to the creative experience.
