Festival Workshop II: Say it Without Words! On-stage communications in small ensembles

When watching an experienced chamber group in concert, it seems that the members have a magical, almost psychic understanding of one another's thoughts.

In this workshop, two leading chamber musicians, Sandy Yamamoto and Jonathan Ong, with the help of a live string quartet, share their secrets about how they communicate intent, ideas and emotions with fellow musicians, and as importantly, with their audience.

Terms of Ticket Sales

1. Children below 6 years of age not allowed. Children above the age of 6 will require ticket.
2. Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. All information given is correct at the time of publishing, but is subject to change without prior notice. The Promoter reserves all rights to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice, and, in the event of any dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final.

Conditions of Entry

1. Admission is subject to valid re-entry item produced at the entrance.
2. Each ticket admits one person.

Duration

1. The event will be approximately 90 minutes.
2. There will be a 20 minutes intermission for this event.

General

1. In the interest of all patrons, latecomers will not be seated until a suitable break in the performance;
2. Mobile phones must be switched off or switched to silent mode in the theatre;
3. Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue. The House Rules are displayed within the venue premises;
4. No food and drinks are allowed in the venue.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

1. Photos and videos are allowed only at bows, curtain calls.
