Step into the creative world of Reiner Witzel, a versatile and internationally acclaimed saxophonist whose career has taken him across stages and studios around the globe. In this intimate workshop, Reiner shares his personal journey with the saxophone and the deeper truths of a life in music — from finding his voice as a composer to building a sustainable international career.

Having performed with jazz legends such as Richie Beirach, Maceo Parker, Dave Liebman, and Lew Soloff, Reiner brings a wealth of experience, including performances at major jazz festivals, chart-topping albums in Europe and Japan, and original works for theatre and television. A graduate of the Cologne Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, and recipient of awards like the Hennessy Jazz Award, he now teaches at Conservatorium Maastricht and continues to inspire through masterclasses around the world.
