Constellations by Nick Payne
Presented by The Winter Players
Co-directed by Marwyn Ho and Michaela Leong
One relationship. Infinite possibilities. In how many universes can a beekeeper and a physicist fall in love?
Nick Payne’s Olivier award winning Constellations races through an intimately vast multiverse of a romance between an unlikely couple.
Parallel universes play out in a kaleidoscope of moments where every pause, word, or decision made can shift the course of their lives. Constellations uncovers the fragility of love, but also how it unfolds and endures through time and space.
Since its premiere in 2012 at London’s Royal Court Theatre, Constellations has taken the world by storm. Across the West End and Broadway, it has earned great international acclaim for its ingenious, inventive structure and deeply human heart.
Following their sold out production of Much Ado About Nothing, join The Winter Players as they begin their 2026 season with this modern classic of quantum physics and honey.
About The Winter Players
The Winter Players is a Singaporean theatre collective under Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Company-in-Residence Programme. Their mission is to resurrect, reinvent, and present great works of international literature.
TWP is a rallying point for the next generation of young, passionate theatre makers who are committed to bringing the works they love to life onstage.
Since 2024, TWP has staged productions of Doctor Faustus, Hedda Gabler, and Much Ado About Nothing, welcoming full houses and first-time theatre goers alike. Across multiple sold-out runs, the company has cultivated a growing audience eager to return for fresh encounters with the classics.
Constellations represents the collective’s first effort to present an exceptional contemporary work, adding breadth to its upcoming season of classics. These milestones have fuelled TWP’s momentum as they continue to set the stage for even more dynamic productions to come.
This amateur production of Constellations is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
