Chela De Ferrari reveals the creative process of Hamlet, a reimagined version of Shakespeare's play written and directed by her, based on the ideas, interests and demands of the eight actors with Down syndrome.
The director allows us to enter the intimacy of the rehearsal room to learn about the discoveries and challenges of more than a year of work. The journey goes from the idea that gave rise to the project, through the research approached and then confronted by the cast, to allow us to see how the connections between the characters, monologues and scenes of the famous English play, and the lives of the actors and actresses in this version are woven.
