What makes a sinner? A man visiting his father finds himself a murderer in an unexpected turn. Now facing the ultimate crossroad, memories and conscience intersect as he questions the value of his choices, and the nature of justice itself. Seeking guidance from three key figures in his life, Mother, Partner, and Friend, he relives, remembers, and rewires the events that have led him to this fateful juncture.
Featuring original music and soundscapes by NUS Electronic Music Lab and vocals by NUS Resonance, explore the fractious fathoms of the protagonist’s mind through an interactive, immersive audiovisual experience held across multiple spaces.

NUS Electronic Music Lab
NUS Electronic Music Lab (EML) is a vibrant collective of students dedicated to composing, producing, and performing original electronic music since 1985. EML embraces a wide array of genres, from heavy metal and hip-hop to euphoric trance to dark synth, and even ethnic music, encouraging members to explore and blend styles freely. As one of the longest active electronic music collectives in Singapore, the group not only provides opportunities for networking and showcasing their work but also focuses on teaching music production as well as live performance skills. With the help of their mentors Ben Ang and Tan E-Reng/Falling Islands, they aim to foster the growth of the local electronic music scene.
NUS Resonance
Formed in 2001, NUS Resonance is NUS’ pioneer and premier collegiate a cappella group, made up of people bound by a common love for singing. Members come from diverse musical backgrounds, and they sing just about anything — from contemporary pop to choral music, alternative rock to swing, and even the occasional techno tune.
NUS Resonance continually strives towards promoting a greater awareness of A Cappella music both within and outside of campus. To date, their most notable achievements include securing the top position in the Singapore National A Cappella Championships (2006 – 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, & 2015), and their annual concert, Vocal Obsession. Internationally, they have also won A Cappella competitions in Korea and Taiwan, most recently clinching the Gold Award at the 2016 International Kodaly A Cappella Festival in Seoul, South Korea.
Ben Ang | Principal Tutor and Director
Ben never left NUS Electronic Music Lab (EML). Despite graduating years ago, he continues to make electronic music with generations of new EML members and helps them make music of their own. He teaches students how to create, record, and perform electronic music as Principal Tutor of NUS EML, and as the lead music instructor (Ableton Certified Trainer) at Pop Studio Academy. He also records and performs electronic music as half of synthpop duo Cosmic Armchair, and as solo electronic improvisation and remix artist Abyss Simian.
Tan E-Reng | Assistant Tutor and Director
TAN E-RENG / FALLING ISLANDS is a Singapore-based electronic musician, DJ, and synthesist who produces and performs music within a wide plethora of genres, having worked with Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and all manner of music technology since 2010. They also currently serve as the Assistant Tutor to the NUS Electronic Music Lab.
On top of regularly releasing their own music as Falling Islands, they have also done scoring, sound design and soundtrack work, most notably for the 2019 mobile game Takoway, and the 2021 hybrid live-show/short-film "Past. Presence. Future. " produced in collaboration with the NUS Dance Ensemble.
E-Reng is currently also the Resident DJ of Singapore-based cybergoth rave collective, BlackLight Tribe. They are also an active committee member of the Synth Commune of Singapore, a music collective centred on celebrating experimental electronic music with hardware synthesizers.
