A PERFORMANCE WITHOUT REHEARSALS
Nightclub. New Year’s Eve. After years apart, Eri and Alex meet again, wondering why there aren’t any coming-of-age stories for people in their 30s. What follows is a study of belief: in friendship, in dark spaces, and in the people we give our hearts to.
To perform this, the two actors each night will have neither seen nor rehearsed the script before stepping onto stage, guided only by the text and the audience.
This is Getting To Know You’s Singapore premiere, before the performance tours to Malaysia and Japan.

Playwright: Edward Eng

Sound Designer: Louis Quek

The performers for each show will be announced in due course.
Past praise for Gangguan!:
"Both sly and playful, cartoonish and radical.” The Scotsman
"Runs wild with artistic licence... Playful, political, specifically Singaporean but speaks to the world we live in." ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Broadway Baby
