The AMKSS Alumni Wind Orchestra (AAWO) will be having their inaugural concert, Ritornello I, on 22 March 2026 (2:30pm). Led by Mr Brando Tan, AMKSS Symphonic Band's conductor from 2000 to 2017, Ritornello I is the first of its concert series which AAWO intends to hold.

Ritornello, an Italian music term meaning “a little return”, beautifully captures the spirit of AAWO. Like the musical term it is named after – where a musical motif returns throughout a composition in various shapes and form - this concert brings together the alumni of AMKSS Symphonic Band (AMKSSSB) spanning generations for a night of experience and nostalgia. While time may have marched on and each member would have embarked on their respective life’s journey, the music made during their time in AMKSSB is something dear to each of their hearts which we hope to reproduce to the audience in attendance.

This concert celebrates AMKSSSB’s past achievements through signature works performed under the baton of Mr Brando Tan, while also looking ahead to the future. Tradition is woven with renewal in a symbolic passing of the torch, as the graduating members of AMKSSB join AAWO on stage in the second half in a shared musical moment.

Terms of Ticket Sales

1. Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. Conditions of Entry

1. Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance.
2. Each ticket admits one person.
3. Children aged below 4 years old will not be admitted.
4. Strictly no re-entry once a ticket has been admitted.

General

1. Attendees must follow all venue rules and safety guidelines, including any health protocols in place on the event day.
2. Mobile phones must be switched off or switched to silent mode in the theatre.
3. There is a 20 minutes intermission for this event.
4. Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue. The House Rules are displayed- within the venue premises.
5. No food and drinks are allowed in the theatre.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

1. Photography without flash, videography and audio recording are allowed for this event.
